Imbolc cleansing ritual
Sweep your home, chant the following, ending with visualizing sweeping the negativity out the front door and taking a few moments to visualize your home filling with the bright light and blessings of Imbolc:
With this Broom, I sweep tonight
Cast out Darkness, raise the Light
All within, blessings surround
Healing, love, and joy abound
A sacred home, this shall be,
As my will, so mote it be.
You can also add sage to the broom or burn a sage smudge stick at the same time for additional cleansing

Remote healing ritual
Before beginning with this remote healing session you ground yourselves first and ask the angels to protect you.
Having grounded and protected you then need to begin by taking a few deep breaths. As you breathe in, imagine that you can actually feel energy moving from the Earth up through your feet to the top of your head on the inhale, and then circulating down to your feet as you exhale.
As you continue to breathe in and out, cup your hands in front of yourself and visualise yourself sending beautiful white healing energy to your hands as you breathe out. Imagine that you are holding the person (or people) that you want to care for between your hands, you can visualise them or say their name.
You can “see” or feel this energy that is running through your body as light, Divine Love, or however you choose to define it or see it. The most important thing is to feel it moving with your breath, in with the inhale and to your hands as you exhale. Feel the Spirit, as energy, coursing in and through your body and then sending it to Heavenly. Remember to keep breathing!
As you breathe in and out, imagine that there is a Divine gathering of angels which is providing solutions quickly, easily and powerfully in a state of wonderful grace. Visualise peace, love and light flowing into the mind of those you are sending the healing to, to put an end to any pain and suffering, so that their body be cared for, and their mind will become freed from worries and will be touched by joy. FEEL this as you continue to breathe.
Knowing that the past cannot be altered for them, see in your mind's eye creative and supporting solutions skilfully created from the greatest good for the person you are sending healing to. Continue to breathe the energy in as you inhale and down to your cupped hands and the person you are healing as you exhale.
As you continue with this exercise, hold the image or name of those you are healing in the cup of your hands and extend your love to them, allow time for the healing to occur. Pray for the highest spirit to provide relief in their life. See that nothing is too big for Spirit for that which created the entire Universe can certainly intervene and bring ease to this situation.
Thank the angels and Spirit for their help, send blessings of peace and love to the person (people) you were sending the healing to. Slowly reduce the energy flowing to your cupped hands, a bit at a time... when it is down to a trickle, thank the angels and spirits again, ask them to seal the link with a burst of healing white light.
Breathe in and out slowly, allow yourself to relax and lift yourself out of the healing state.
Thank the angels and Spirits for their guidance and protection their help and support.

The Mystic Way magazine... Issue 5, Review
A beautiful image of the spiritual home of England graces the front cover of the latest issue of the magazine, the path leading to the Tor at Glastonbury pulls one into the magazine with hints of what can be found inside.
I don’t want to give away too much of the content as this is something that one has to read and digest themselves, but I hope to give you a flavour of what you will find when you look inside. The foreword and first article are written by Ed Mystic Master Biggs, the foreword describing a recent trip to Glastonbury, as seen in the front cover, and a bit about the evolution of the magazine. The first article is then a continuation of his story “The Weaver of the Web and they Wyrd”…
The second article is by James Middleditch looking at how the words of the romantic poets, and in particular Shelly, can be use for ritual work. There are additional supporting links in this article. Next we move onto an article by Jenny Spirit and her experience of Sound Healing during her latest visit to Glastonbury.
You will then find an article by me on 3 card tarot spreads, with an example reading of a “New Deck Spread” which helps you to work out what your relationship with your tarot deck will be. Turn a further page and you will find my second article about the chakras and their associations with crystals, the body and the way we interact with our world. If you feel you would like remote reiki or a charka cleanse after reading this article please contact me on Chakra.Healing.Reiki@gmail.com Sandwiched between my articles is one on a banishing protection ritual to clear your sacred space – this is again by Ed Mystic Master Biggs.
Reading further leads you to a Guided meditation titled running waters by Lance McKirdy & Simone Schreck, with beautiful images and words to energise and calm the soul. You then finally move onto recommended reading, advertisments and a list of contributors.
If you would like a copy of the Mystic Way Issue 5 please e-mail mystikmaster@googlemail.com and tell him you read my review and would like a copy.
Blessings of peace love and light

Mother Nature's fireworks - Perseid Meteor Shower
The Perseids Meteor Shower
What causes the Perseid meteor shower?
The comet Swift-Tuttle orbits the sun once every 130 years, it last swept through the inner Solar system in 1992. As it passed near the sun it left behind fragments of rock and dust – it is these rock and dust fragments that cause the Perseid meteor shower. As the Earth passes through this gritty debris, the rock and dust fragments cause the Perseid meteor shower. This debris field was left behind by Comet Swift-Tuttle when it last came near the Sun.
The debris burns up in the Earth’s atmosphere, most of the meteoroids are smaller than a grain of sand, yet they produce an impressive display. Any fragments that do reach the Earth’s surface are then called meteorites.
How did the Perseid’s get their name?
The Perseids are named because they appear to come from an area inside the Perseus constellation. Much of the debris that the Earth will pass through is about 1000 years old, but the Perseids have been seen for over 2000 years. The first know observations of the Perseids came from the Far East, in early medieval Europe they were known as the “Tears of St Lawrence.”
When and where can they be seen?
The Perseid meteor shower can be seen from mid-July each year, but the most obvious activity is between August 8 and 14, and usually peaks about August 12. During the showers peak, the rate of meteors can reach between 60-80 meteors or more per hour. The meteors can be seen all across the sky, but because of the path of Swift-Tuttle's orbit, the Perseids are more easily visible in the northern hemisphere.
In 2009 the National Trust produced a list of the seven best places to observe the Perseid meteor shower in the UK, these were:
- · Black Down in Sussex
- · Teign Valley in Devon
- · Penbryn Beach in Wales
- · Stonehenge Landscape in Wiltshire
- · Wicken Fen National Nature Reserve in Cambridgeshire
- · Mam Tor in Derbyshire
- · Friar's Crag in Cumbria
